Dallas-based Texas de Brazil announced the additions of Moqueca de Camarao and Grilled Shrimp to its third-quarter menu. The limited-time offerings will be available at all locations.

Moqueca de Camarao is a tropical seafood stew that’s a staple in northern parts of Brazil. The shrimp is a lighter menu option.


Tarleton State University‘s summer commencement exercises are at 9 p.m. Friday, July 26, at Memorial Stadium on the Stephenville campus, according to the university. The ceremony will include both undergraduates and graduates.


Guardian Saints Commercial Cleaning, which offers cleaning services to commercial and professional office buildings, launched in Denton recently, a press release stated. Amber Pizano is the owner and chief financial officer.


Latin cuisine eatery Gloria’s announced plans to open a location in Plano. It’s the fourth stand-alone restaurant and will replace the Frisco location on Gaylord Parkway.

The restaurant could open in 2025.


Muenster Independent School District announced Matthew Quick is the new superintendent. He was the lone finalist.


Dallas-based Mammoth Holdings LLC, an express car wash company, recently opened a location in Kendall, Florida. It’s the fourth location under the Busy Bee Carwash brand.

Mammoth has 143 operating locations, a press release stated.
